Come join the Green Valley swimmers for a fun time swimming 25's and 50's socializing during and after the laid back swim meets

*January 25nd Tucson Parks Archer pool 11:00am
*February 22nd Tucson Parks Clements pool 11:00am
*March 8th Sahuarita pool 11:00am
*March 29th Oro Valley Aquatic Center 11:00am
CURRENT PRACTICES
We currently have two swim groups:
8:00 - 9:30 am
9:30 - 10:45am
10:45 - 12:00am This is not a workout group, just extra time for swim club members.
(The swim club has every right to the pool at the stated times above; however, if there are lanes available please welcome other GVR members)
COACHING
8:00am group swims the posted workout as a group. Different time intervals are used if needed.
Monday: Alanna (from water)
Wednesday: Joanne (from water)
Friday: Voni (from water)
9:30am group has coaching on Deck and in the water with each lane swimming at their own pace.

Two Green Valley Club swimmers medaled at U. S. Masters Swim Nationals held in Indianapolis, Indiana this summer. The meet drew over 2,300 swimmers from around the country. Craig Shaffer competing against 56 other men in his age group medaled in three events taking a third place in the 200 fly, fourth place in the 400 Individual Medley and sixth place in the 100 fly. Samantha Martoni competed against 98 women in her age group and placed 6th in the 50 breaststroke, 7th in the 100 breaststroke and eighth in the 100 fly.
